If there is more than one Buyer, you must declare if you will register as Joint Tenants or Tenants in Common. Joint Tenants implies Right of Survivorship, meaning that upon one’s death the property can be transferred to the other surviving tenant(s). Tenants in Common is Division of Interest, meaning that each party is a divided interest and upon death of any party, the deceased’s portion will be directed to the beneficiary in their Will.
